I read reviews on this property the week before I went and was horrified. |When I arrived, I realized that it was perfect. The location was great. The price was amazing. It was right on the beach, walkable to everything.|It was a bit run down but if you are like me, I'm just there to sleep and shower, you'll be happy.|The "family apartment" was very roomy and exactly as the pictures showed. It also included 2 pull out sofas!|I will book again!

Very clean. Great location for romantic getaway. Nicely appointed breakfast. Expect nasty staff, extra charges for everything. Questionable charges to your account. No disposable drinking cups or coffee cups or filters. Read the fine print carefully for what is provided as it's a bare room.

Hotel area and reception very confusing. So many buildings in between and still the same complex? Didn't get it. Also reception was hard to find, during our 3 day stay we weren't the only ones to look for it. Cleaning after every 3 days, ok but since it's located at the beach there's a lot of sand coming with you inside. No broom or anything to wipe the floors yourself. Room ok, there's not enough light in the room (like for doing your makeup in the evening) but this seems to be typical in american hotels or maybe we just have different taste of the amount of lighting in my country. We had issues with the neighbours acting like wild animals through the first night. Not the hotels fault the walls are paper thin, you can hear even normal talking let alone partying. Noises coming from the beach at night but that was expected. Location is super, it saves all the flaws.

Positive: The location Negative: There's no direction as to where your room is located or understanding of where check in is also their breakfast is only for an hour which is a odd hour and I'm not a lot of people can make that also the rooms are old and painted over

We booked at Paradise Oceanfront through Booking.com. The room was described as first floor oceanfront with a pool. This was important because I have a bad knee. When we finally found where to check in it was a few blocks away with a company that serves several hotels called HBH. The office was grungy, the line was very long and slow and the workers were horrible and unbelievably rude. They finally gave me a key and didn't bother to tell me that they had switched us to a totally different hotel, it was on the second floor, no pool and not oceanfront. We finally found it and it stunk so much I could barely breathe. The windows were painted shut and the overall condition was just gross. We left and paid for another place (not HBH) at about the same price that was nice, clean, oceanfront and had a lovely pool. Hollywood Beach is a great place but stay away from any hotel that says it's part of the HBH group. They are garbage!

Two hours before we arrived I tried calling and the phone rang for 20 minutes straight with no answer. We wanted to see if early check in was possible. We got there at 245PM. There was no visual signage on where to check in. We were in the building by the beach and it turned out that the check in was all the way back at the Main Street which was about 3 blocks away. Our uber had already left and there were no signs where to go besides an address, which is not the address given on emails or Expedia. We finally find the location, after walking for awhile with all of our luggage, passing 2 different people who work there and were not able to answer where to go. I go to check in and she helps the two people in front of me, and then answers the phone. I asked if we could check in early and she stated there are no rooms available until check in at 4. I asked her if they could watch our bags and she said yes. We had an hour to kill, and nothing to do around there so we Uber BACK to near the airport and ate at Coconuts(delish by the way!) and then went back to the hotel around 6 and finally was able to check in. We walk the three blocks back to the room and go inside. The door to the room doesn’t even have a lock on the outside. It is only locked by a chain from the inside. The bathroom was not very clean and there was hair on the towels. There were no mirrors in the room. It’s not very lit up over there so we weren’t very comfortable leaving the room. We will not be back.

The front desk was super helpful! I accidentally booked the wrong days with Expedia and they switched them for me without any hassle. The rooms are renovated in some ways but also very dated. It is nice that it is right on the beach.

Very disappointed from room 901B. Not like pictures and description ocean front and view. Pics of room shows big space, big windows with beautiful view. We had a room ocean front but on the side of the house with a tiny window and side view to the ocean standing on tip toes. Horrible!!!! Complained but no chance, it was all right complete nonsense. Booked for 75$ thr night and arrived there and had more extra costs 17$ Hotel charge (rediculous), parking 19$ very rude. So 110$ per night and not worth it. A couple of things needed to be fixed, extra mirror, window blind cause not fully closed. Kitchen although was nice but strange a coffee maker and no coffee available like in all other Hotels. Also no way to use a plug for the coffee maker. Had to ask for dishes, also strange. Bathroom rust in the shower, short curtain, all wet and no air. Breakfast quite a walk. Very cheap done. Bad is all the one use dishes, lots of garbage. You can only sit outside. What do they do in the cold season. Only good thing, located right at the beach.
